Glenn Brown, 91, passed away Wednesday, November 1, 2017 in Richmond. He was born October 30, 1926 in Brown Community to Thurmond Allen Brown and Edda Caroline Arnold Brown. Glenn graduated from Richmond High School and served his country in the US Army during WWII. He was a member of Avenue N Church of Christ, a charter member of Austin’s Old 300 and was a farmer and rancher in the Needville area for many years. His hobbies included, hunting, fishing and gardening. He was known for his knack for growing beautiful vegetables and telling stories and jokes.

Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Thelma Roberts Brown, 3 children, Kenneth Yates and wife Mary, Glenda Saman and husband Ronnie, Diana Robinson and husband Kenneth, 4 grandchildren, Ronda Milic and husband Elvis, Michael Robinson and wife Kristy, Amanda Yates, Rachel Robinson, 4 great grandchildren, Tristan and Weston Milic, Michaela Craddock and Emily Robinson along with a host of other loving family members and friends.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 4, 2017 at 10 A.M. in the Chapel at Davis Greenlawn Funeral Home with Rick Moore and Steven Harper officiating. Burial will follow in Brown Beard Cemetery in Needville. Visitation will be Friday evening, November 3, 2017 from 5-8 P.M. in the Stateroom at Davis Greenlawn Funeral Home. In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in his memory to Brown-Beard Cemtery c/o Sherri Roehling, 17009 Brumbelow Rd, Needville, Tx 77461.
